A Ph.D. in Mathematics encompasses two primary approaches: 1. **Pure Mathematics**: This approach delves into various trends such as Analysis, Algebra, and Geometry, and fields including Groups, Functional Analysis, Harmonic Analysis, Hormonal Groups, Topological Groups, Dynamical Systems, Differential Equations, Partial Differential Equations, and Probability Theory. 2. **Applied Mathematics**: This approach focuses on areas such as Numerical Analysis, Operations Research, Numerical Methods in Linear Algebra, Numerical Solutions of Functional Equations, Random Processes, and Boundary Value Problems. These approaches provide a comprehensive understanding of both theoretical and practical aspects of mathematics, equipping students with the skills to tackle complex mathematical problems and applications.

Ophthalmology is a medical specialty that focuses on the anatomy, physiology, and diseases of the eye, eyelid, and tear ducts. An ophthalmologist is skilled in diagnosing and treating a variety of eye conditions and performing eye surgeries. The human eye can be impacted by various incidents and diseases, including microbial infections, glaucoma, cataracts, trichiasis, and retinal detachment. As ophthalmologists also conduct eye surgeries, this specialty encompasses both medicine and surgery. In Iran, this field is recognized and taught in universities across various cities including Tehran, Tabriz, Rasht, Mashhad, Yazd, Shiraz, Ahvaz, and Kerman.

The Ph.D. program in Computer Science, representing the pinnacle of academic education in the field, delves into both theoretical and practical aspects of computing. This program is bifurcated into two key components: Education and Research. Its primary objective is to cultivate specialists with distinct skills across various domains of computer science. The program equips graduates with the requisite expertise to undertake teaching roles in universities and conduct specialized research in at least one area of their choice.

“Plant Physiology” and “Organogenesis in Phytochemical Plant Biology” are significant areas of study within Plant Science. Furthermore, Plant Science is divided into two main sections: Physiology and Systematic Study. The Physiology section focuses on the life and organs of plants. The Systematic Study section, on the other hand, delves into the classification and categorization of plants. These fields collectively contribute to our understanding of plant life and its various aspects.
