Indeed, soil science has evolved significantly over the past century. Initially, it was closely related to geology, but it has since developed into a distinct branch of the natural sciences. Today, soil science not only contributes to our understanding of the Earth's soil systems, but also influences and is influenced by other scientific fields. This includes areas like agriculture, environmental science, and climate change. The advancements in soil science have been instrumental in improving agricultural practices, managing natural resources, and understanding environmental processes. It's a testament to the dynamic and interconnected nature of scientific knowledge.

Geology primarily involves the study of Earth's shape and dimensions, along with the physical and chemical analysis of its components, such as oil, soil, water, and minerals. It also explores the factors influencing the Earth's form. This field of study aids in the discovery, optimization, and management of land resources for human use.

Biology, a cornerstone of empirical science, encompasses the study of all living organisms, including plants and animals, and their impact on human life. Biologists delve into various domains such as human biology, botany, zoology, cellular biology, and molecular biology, exploring the interactions between these organisms and their environment.
